KORDONair self- directed and self-funded Artist-in-Residence spring program

KORDONair facilitates art in dialogue with architecture and nature. It explores social and artistic dimensions of space, diversity of culture and wilderness. The interdisciplinary residency is located in the UNESCO biosphere reserve on the border of Kärdla city, the capital of Hiiumaa island. KORDON welcomes applications from all types of creative practitioner, including visual artists, architects, filmmakers, writers, curators, musicians, performing artists and those working across disciplines or in collaboration. KORDON offers 2 or 4 week residencies which begin on Sundays and end on Saturdays.

Application Process: As space is limited, KORDON selects applicants based on an evidence of their professional experience, quality of past work, project idea and compatibility with any other residents staying at the same time.
